Presenting Our #MZBride Spotlight: Let's step into the love story of Alyssa Cullen, the mesmerizing bride who not only chose our timeless custom Kaylyn gown but curated an entire look with matching Kaylyn shrug and veil that truly elevated Alyssa's ensemble to breathtaking heights. In the following interview, Alyssa shares with us how she started planning her wedding journey and will give you her exclusive tips!
How did you start planning your wedding? What were the first steps? The first thing we did when we started planning our wedding was secure our wedding venue, which just happened to be the same place that my husband proposed. It also was on the exact same date. After we booked our venue, we found the perfect wedding planner - ours was incredible. After our first meeting with her, we knew we were in good hands, and from that point on, everything just fell into place. After we had those two things settled, I started my search for my wedding dress.
How did you know your dress was 'the one’?
I remember looking at myself in the mirror when I tried on my dress and thinking, “This is me.” I finally felt like I had found a dress that represented my personality perfectly and made me feel beautiful. It was actually the very last dress that I had tried on – I canceled all my other appointments because I knew I wouldn’t find anything better.
How did you find working with the bridal store team?
From the very beginning, the bridal store team was so welcoming and warm, and made me feel incredibly comfortable looking for and trying on dresses. I wasn’t sure exactly what I wanted, but they were the perfect guides through this journey.
Advices that you would give to our future brides?
1. Remember your wedding day is just about you and your partner. 2. Don’t stress about the small stuff, everything will turn out just as it should - try to take in every moment of this process and enjoy it. It’s one of the most exciting times of your life! 3. Invest in yourself during this time in every form, it’s worth it!
What was your wedding theme?
